to Weigh Down Kapha

Take nice, long naps after eating.

Eat lots of fatty foods, fried foods and
oils.

Assume someone else will do it.

Avoid invigorating, warm and dry geographical

Use drugs, especially sedatives and tranquilizers.

Repress your feelings and don’t speak
your mind.

How
to Balance Kapha

Get plenty of exercise every day.

Wake early (before 7am) and stay moving.

Keep consumption of fatty and fried foods
to a minimum.

processed foods.

Choose foods which are warm, light and
dry.

Eat your largest meal at midday, very
light at other 2 meals.

Generally drink about 4 cups of liquid
per day.

Luxuriate in fresh vegetables, herbs and
spices.

Get complex carbohydrates to sustain you
and maintain an adequate energy intake.

stimulation - in foods, mental and physical activity,
